Game Plan for my Side Stories.

Wed Jul 4, 2007, 7:17 PM
Hello, my fellow deviants. Though I have only recently joined deviantART, I am astonished and overwhelmed at how warmly I have been recieved and how supportive those of you that have read my work have been. That is, however, NOT to say that you should stop of course. Anyhow, I would like to take this oppurtunity to outline my agenda, present and future, for my Side Stories. Keep in mind that the titles are tentative, I'm putting them out there to see if they sound good. If any of you have any questions, comments or concerns, please let me know and, once again, thank you for reading my fiction. Please, oh please, keep it up.

Okay, here we go. The following outlines my plan for Side Stories corresponding to Legends of Ghea Book 1: The Great War. (S) means Submitted, (P) means Pending.

Side Story 1 ‘A World in Peril, Heroes rise’ (S): A monologue by Macmael, Governor of Nubal and surrogate father to the main character Alexander, which describes Ghea's recent history. It tells of the downfall of Ghea's cities to the Dominion and of the Liberation of the Western Continent which takes place about one fifth of the way through the book.

Side Story 2 ‘A sword in one hand, ale in the other’ (S): A bit of banter with Shotglass, a bartender and veteran of the Nubalian Partisans, where he describes the world of Ghea. Shotglass relays many tales about the various cities, the five races, their rulers and, of course, their liquors.

Side Story 3 ‘Order dies, Wisdom fails, Hope survives’ (S): A flashback/reflection from Arjun, leader of the Order of Guardians, as he describes the origin of the terrible Dark Mage and the decimation of the Order. The perspective will alternate between the first person, when Arjun is explaining or reflecting, and the third person in which the reader sees the events play out.

Side Story 4 ‘Garden of Ashes’ (S): A falling action piece where Alexander, the leader of the nine heroes, reflects on his journey and how he and his companions have changed over that time. He will tell a few anecdotes of their adventures, tell about what he discovered about the Dark Mage and how these discoveries (and their implications) have led him and his companions to the realm of a near mythical race: the Avatars. He will also tell what little he knows about the Avatars and what he can see of their world, and how it is NOT what he expected.

Side Story 5 ‘Changing of the Guard’ (S): A reflection/foreshadowing piece in which Gatspy, a survivor of the Order of Guardians, reflects on the involvement of the nine heroes and the remnants of the Order in the Avatar Civil War. Gatspy will describe the battle, as he knows it, as well as the events immediately before and after, leading up to a confrontation on the planet Detulia against a Black Rose Super Weapon known as the Soul Crusher. Finally, he will both surprise the reader and offer a hint of things to come when he makes a surprising decision: that he and the other young Guardians will stay with the White Rose Clan, the Avatar faction that our heroes side with, and help them to find a new home world.

Interlude 1 ‘The Age of Miracles’ (S): A short story intended to cap off the Book 1 Side Stories. In this interlude, Arjun will be visiting the burial site of Tal Belenthrond, the Sage and Oracle who foresaw the beginning of the Great War and the appearance of the Nine Heroes. Arjun will reflect on the events of the Great War and of how, in the regained peace, the Five Races have followed the Nine Heroes’ example and have banded together for mutual defense and the shared task of reconstruction. And, more remarkable still, new Kingdoms have been discovered. As Arjun dubs it, this is The Age of Miracles.

Now, we move on to the Side Stories pertaining to The Legends of Ghea Book 2: Where Barriers Vanish. Again, (S) means Submitted, (P) means Pending.

Interlude 2 ‘Ships of the Line’ (S): This isn’t actually a story but an exhibition of the various ships used by the Earth Unified Republic (E.U.R). This prose will contain brief descriptions of the various fighters, warships and support craft used by the E.U.R as well as the origins of their names, and some are quite interesting.

Side Story 6 ‘First Contact’ (S): In this piece, the traveler (the reader) will meet with Admiral Sophia Chamberlain, Commanding Officer of the E.R.S Ark Royal and head of the Earth Unified Republic’s Expeditionary Force. Sophia will relay to the reader the origins and recent history of the Earth Unified Republic (E.U.R), its hostilities with the Andromeda Star League (A.S.L) and the events leading up to First Contact between Earth and Ghea. She will also admit that she shares the utter astonishment of the recent First Contact, the Gheans had long assumed Earth to be a myth and Ghea, to the E.U.R, is like a myth come to life.

Side Story 7 ‘Apocalypse and Her Horsemen’ (P): A narrative consisting of three monologues, one by Laura, one by Gatspy and one by Count Vulture, now provisionally made a Liaison between Ghea and the Ark Royal. In this piece, each will describe the events that have led them all to one, inescapable conclusion: war is once again upon us. The Black Rose Clan, the Avatar faction that gave the Dark Mage Lucifer his powers and with whom our heroes battled with near the end of Book 1, is back. Their new leader, Czarthra Mang, had dispatched the Five Horsemen. Their mission is to set the Black Rose Clan’s enemies at one another’s throats through a heinous campaign of espionage, deception and mass murder. Each will, at the end of their segments, talk about what little they know of the Horsemen’s identities and how this threat will be confronted. Vulture will also talk about his growing bond with Sophia who, to everyone’s surprise, pledges her support to the hunt for the Horsemen.

Side Story 8 ‘Across the Stars, Across Time, and Home Again’ (P): Alexander speaks once more with the traveler as the most critical time in the war arrives, and the moments leading up to it. As the hunt for the Horsemen draws to a close, Gatspy makes a terrible discovery: the Black Rose Clan intends to launch an all out invasion of Ghea. With some timely aid from the President of the E.U.R, Ghea’s population is evacuated, but the Black Rose Clan is relentless and merciless, as are their newfound friends: the Dark Elves. With Ghea in Black Rose hands, the Allies are splintered. The E.U.R and its newfound ally the A.S.L are cut off from one another by the Black Rose forces occupying Ghea and, worse still, the Gatspy and the young Guardians, along with the White Rose Clan and their Detulian allies, are trapped on the far side of the portal at Blackwater Spire. The Black Rose Clan wields the tactical initiative, the strategic advantage and superior firepower. But, the forces of good are not beaten yet. Alexander will describe, as well as these events, the plan for a daring assault to reclaim Ghea and drive out the Black Rose invaders.

Side Story 9 ‘Homecomings, The Razorthorn Address and New Threats’ (P): A four part narrative depicting the events following the counterattack on Ghea, codenamed Operation: Ghean Freedom. The first part will be a letter that a young Ghean soldier writes to his family, talking about the victory and the now strong friendship not only between the Five Races but between Ghea and Earth. The second will be a speech made the E.U.R President before the gates of Razorthorn, an ancient fortress which the Allied ground forces seized and defended against a massive Dark Elf assault. In terms of length and wording, it will be similar to the Pointe Du Hoc Address made by President Ronal Reagan on the fortieth anniversary of the D-Day Invasion of Normandy. The third part will be a conversation between Arjun and Githyan, a captured Dark Elf. During the clash between Arjun and the Dark Elf Lord Astaral, Astaral voiced that Czarthra Mang’s true designs yet remain hidden and Arjun intends to learn more. Finally, the last part will focus on Czarthra Mang himself as we learn that some of the finer points of his thinking and that his ‘war’ against the Allies was never meant to succeed. He, indeed, has a new and horrific design and one he will, gladly, sacrifice his entire race to fulfill.

In addition to these stories, I have also uploaded a four part fanfic for Fire Emblem Path of Radiance. It was an idea for an experiment that simply refused to go away. The tale is called Fire Emblem Path of Radiance: Divergence and is currently in my scraps section. It will be rotated into my main gallery once all the Side Stories are up. And, of course, all reviews are appreciated. Thanks for all you support.

Sure thing, Fire Emblem and Legend of Zelda are veritable obsession of mine. If you're up for requests, please let me know. It's a hobby of mine to devise ideas on DA and you might like drawing some of the material I've devised based on Fire Emblem Path of Radiance, Fire Emblem Sacred Stones, Fire Emblem Blazing Sword, Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time and Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess. Well, please let me know if you're interested and catch you later.

Request, wow I haven't done a request for those in a while. If you have something in mind I might be able to pull it off ^-^;

:iconfalchion1984:
Okay, thanks. There are a LOT here, but I'm only asking you to do the one(s) out of these that you like. Here you go!

Fire Emblem

Ike+Elincia: What else can I say? They're cute! Perhaps you could have a sparring session or what would have happened between the two at Riven Bridge if Ranulf hadn't butted in. Another possibility is to draw the two of them in battle, either double teaming a foe or one coming to the aid of the other.

Rhys+Mia: Odd couples don't get much odder than these two. Perhaps you could have a scene with Mia trying to train him to be a myrmidon. Another idea is to draw Rhys tending to Mia’s wounds, perhaps with Mia proving a difficult patient.

Gatrie+Astrid: There's practically nothing on this site regarding this pair, and Gatrie seemed to be smitten with her in the game. Maybe you could have him confronting her betrothed. Another possibility is to draw the two of them in battle with Gatrie looking at her in a ‘that’s my girl’ fashion.

Haar+Jill: Opposites attract as they say, and I always found Jill blowing up over Haar’s perpetual sleeping to be very funny. One possibility is to draw Haar trying to sleep while flying (as he seems to several times during the game) and Jill either yelling at him or trying to knock him out of his saddle. Another idea is draw the two of them at the funeral of Shiharam, Jill’s father. It should occur in Talrega, after the war most likely, with the two of them standing before a grave, possibly stylized after a Wyvern, with Haar embracing a sobbing Jill.

Naesala+Leanne: Naesala’s reaction to learning that Leanne was alive caught my attention and I have certain…suspicions regarding his rescuing Leanne without demanding some sort of payment. Perhaps this could be explored in a pic. One idea is to draw the flight from Gritnea Tower, when Naesala is flying away with Leanne holding on to him from behind. Another idea is to draw Naesala, Leanne and Reyson visiting Serenes with Naesala and Leanne close to each other and Reyson looking on dubiously.

Janaff+Lucia: Of the possible Beorc+Laguz pairings I’ve seen, this is probably the only one that really appeals to me. One idea is to draw the two of them on that date that Janaff brought up in their C and A Supports, perhaps chatting over a meal with Geoffrey watching from a polite distance. Another idea is to draw Janaff flying, in beast form, with Lucia on his back, an expression of ecstasy and wonderment on her face.

Oscar+Tanith: A remarkably underappreciated pairing with considerable potential. Given the disastrous dinner that Tanith described during her A Support with Oscar, and his offer to teach her how to cook, I believe it would be interesting to draw what those lessons might look like and all the…mishaps therein. After all, if one of Tanith’s meals could make three men sick then the cooking phase must’ve looked pretty wild.

Boyd+Titania: I was rolling on the ground laughing during some of the Supports these two had, and a couple of fanfic authors have actually explored the possibility of the two of them as a (very) odd couple. Perhaps this can be made into a pic with Boyd, buffed up and training hard, with Titania looking on appreciatively. Or, perhaps, you could draw Boyd giving Titania a gift, as he mentioned in his A Support, and Titania regarding with appreciation and a little bemusement.

Rolf+Mist: An interesting idea formed in my mind after reading a fic about Rolf which, sparing details, involves some of the Greil Mercenaries fearing that he’s becoming a remorseless killer. Perhaps a pic could be drawn both on that concept and that pairing. One way this might take form is for Rolf to be staring at the corpse of a man he’s just killed trying not to look at it and yet unable to avert his eyes, with Mist looking on worriedly. Another idea might be to draw Rolf having his wounds tended and with a haunted look in his eyes while Mist embraces him from behind.

Seth+Eirika: These two got my attention from the get-go. Perhaps a pic of them training would work or perhaps the often referred to flight from besieged Renais at the start of the game.

Ephraim+Tana: Innes as a brother-in-law would be hilarious. Maybe you could have Ephraim and Tana having one of those stupid arguments they seem to get into during the game. Another idea is to draw Tana performing some aerobatics on her Pegasus while Ephraim looks on impressed.

Innes+Vanessa: She's got to be the only girl who can stand him. Maybe one helping out the other during a pitched battle would be good. Another possibility is to have Innes demonstrating that trick of shooting three arrows simultaneously at different targets with Vanessa looking on dreamily.

Franz+Amelia: They’re just so darned cute! Some of the dialogue between them was a bit corny, but various fanfic writers have managed to make something good out of it. One idea is for Franz to be teaching her how to ride, since a Cavalier or a Paladin/Great Knight is the logical promotion for her. Or, better yet, a visual rendition of their Sword And Shield pact with Amelia deflecting an enemy’s blow while Franz attacks.

Rennac+L’arachel: The Supports between these two are hilarious. One possibility is to draw the two of them during their dance in their B Support. Another idea is to draw L’arachel finding Rennac in Grado Keep/Jehanna Hall and her dragging him about while he rails at the heavens in displeasure.

Kyle+Syrene: There is practically nothing at all regarding this pairing, but there is one thing in it that piques my interest: the memory of Kyle’s younger, brasher self. One idea is to draw that flashback, with Kyle fighting a mob of bandits and Syrene flying to his aid. Another possibility is to draw the two of them on Frelia’s coast, walking hand-in-hand.

Joshua+Natasha: Still another pairing I liked from the get-go, and I’ve always had a soft spot for pairing up mismatched characters. One possibility is to draw the fateful coin toss in Serafew, possibly with close-ups of their eyes and the coin spinning in the air for effect. Another idea would be to draw their return to Jehanna, either with a pic of them overseeing the rebuilding of Jehanna Hall or their Coronation as Jehanna’s rulers.

Gerik+Marisa: Gerik’s attempts to get Marisa to be more sociable were a bit stupid but they were funny. Perhaps you could draw Gerik trying (and failing) to get Marisa to crack a smile so that she’d seem more approachable. Another possibility is to draw Gerik bursting out laughing during their B Support and Marisa regarding him murderously.

Colm+Neimi: Given Colm’s short fuse, I can picture Neimi’s constant crying forcing him to either obtain some patience or go stark, raving mad. One idea might be to draw Colm as he peruses over a few odds and ends that he’s stolen which might be such things as Rennac’s silk embroidery, Forde’s paintbrushes, Garcia’s keepsake necklace, Franz’s satchel, Kyle’s wooden Pegasus carving, Neimi’s mirror, Joshua’s coin and other effects mentioned in the Supports while Neimi starts bawling about his stealing. Another ideas might be to draw the two of them returning to Lark and Neimi bursting into tears about its destruction while Colm, with more than a hint of irritation, lets her cry on his shoulder.

Eliwood+Ninian: Another pair I liked from the get-go. At the risk of sounding way too obvious, perhaps you could have them dancing. On the other hand, a family pic with little Roy would be charming.

Hector+Lyn: I've always been partial to sticking the hotheads together. Maybe you could show them during that sparring session Hector promised. Another idea might be to draw the two of them visiting Sacae, either relaxing in the Sea of Grass or racing on horses, presumably with Hector losing.

Sain+Florina: I've read a number of fanfics centered on this pair and, having a soft spot for 'opposites attract,' they really make me wish that the two had Supports. One idea for a pic is for Sain to be pulling his usual flirting routine with Florina while she's sweating bullets and looking ready to have a heart-attack. Or, alternately, you could show Florina being trained by Sain on how to use javelins and swords while trying (and failing) to make coherent conversation.

Kent+Fiora: Most of the dialogue between them was rather bland, but various fanfic authors have managed to make something out of it. One possibility is to draw Fiora with Kent as she commiserates over her fallen comrades while he, perhaps, cups her shoulder supportively. Another might be to draw Kent on the balcony of Castle Caelin looking in the direction of Ilia and, staring back at him, is an ethereal cutaway of Fiora’s smiling face.

Dart+Farina: I just about laughed myself into passing out when I learned about Dart’s plans for Han Gek’s treasure. Still, I can imagine some cool pics coming out of this. One idea, for instance, might be to draw the two of them studying the treasure map while eyeing each other suspiciously. Another might be to draw the two of them at the treasure itself arguing over which of them got to it first.

Jaffar+Nino: The romance between Jaffar and Nino, along with their fate when Jaffar vanishes and Nino pursues him, has been the theme of many a fanfic. One idea is to draw the two of them double-teaming Sonia, with Jaffar readying his blades for a killing stroke and Nino conjuring a spell. Another idea is to draw a family pic, just after Rei and Lugh are born, with Jaffar holding one boy and kissing an exhausted (from her labor) Nino while she holds the other.

Heath+Priscilla: This is, probably, one of my favorite couples in Rekka no Ken and this sentiment is shared by many fanfic authors. One idea is to draw their parting, with Heath reassuring a tearful Priscilla that he will return. Another possibility is to draw Heath giving Priscilla a ride on his Wyvern, with her looking terrified and clinging to his waist and Heath discreetly laughing.

Harken+Isadora: Many a fanfic author of tragedy has employed these two fighting on opposite sides, and it ending in death and tears. One idea is to draw the two of them, at the Black Fang’s mountain fortress, either with swords locked or with one having run the other through, looking upon each other with shocked recognition.

Pent+Louise: Since these two are so ridiculously powerful, I’m often conservative about using them and the level in Nabata where Pent clears half the map by himself is just plain sad. One idea might be to draw the two of them massacring some Black Fang cronies or Morphs while Hector is in the distance screaming ‘Hey, save some for us!’ Another idea might be to draw a family portrait of the two of them along with Klein and Clarine which would be precious.

Zelda

Link drawing the Master Sword: When I played OoT, I really liked the concept of using the Master Sword to travel back and forth through time and the booby-trap Ganondorf laid when Link drew it the first time. Perhaps a piece could be drawn to signify this, with Link drawing the Sword and Ganondorf lurking in the background. Alternatively, we could see Link, with Master Sword in hand, encased in energy for his seven year slumber with Ganondorf standing over him laughing.

Link Vs. Phantom Ganon: Phantom Ganon is one of the tougher bosses from OoT, at least in my opinion. Shooting him as he emerges from the paintings, with decoys drawing your fire no less, is tricky. And, after that, it gets even better: you have to bat his energy balls back at him when, half the time, his drifting or the angle of the ricochet causes you to miss. Perhaps an image of Phantom Ganon emerging from a painting behind Link would work or a pic of Link batting back one of the energy balls just at the moment of impact between the ball and his Sword.

Link Vs. Volvagia: Volvagia from OoT’s Fire Temple is, perhaps, my favorite boss of that game. He’s cool looking, I’m fond of dragons and, best of all, he’s not that hard to beat. One idea is a shot of Volvagia trying to encircle Link with Link turning to keep eye contact. Or, better yet, an image of Volvagia breathing fire at Link and Link deflecting the flames with his shield.

Link Vs. Dark Link: Dark Link was cool, irritating but cool. My only gripe about him, besides him being hard to beat, is that he wasn’t evil looking enough! Where were the demonic tattoos? The vampire fangs? The deathly pale complexion and glowing red eyes? But, this leaves open a lot of potentiality: Dark Link could drawn with a creative license either portrait style or in battle against Link.

Link riding Epona: Every hero needs a noble steed and Epona is one of the best. Perhaps a shot of Link readying to fire an arrow from horseback would work. Or, alternatively, we could see him racing against Malon. I myself am not a Link+Malon fan but it would make a cute scene. Alternatives to the racing scene might include Link racing against Zelda or, if the artist is particularly ambitious, Link racing against Midna who rides a Twili steed.

The Twili Onslaught: The cinematic shown when you first meet Zelda in Twilight Princess, depicting Zant’s attack on the Throne Room, was short but cool. And, this lends it pic potential. Perhaps a pic could be drawn showing the Hylian Soldiers fighting a losing battle against the Shadow Beasts or, alternately, a pic could be shown of Zant blowing through the Hylian ranks.

The Adventurers Guild: The Adventurers Guild, the fighters Rusl and Ashei, the scholarly Shad and the cunning Auru, was an interesting idea. Finally, Link is not COMPLETELY unassisted in his world saving quest. Perhaps this has some pic potential. One idea is to draw their first meeting with Link in Telma’s Bar and shaking hands or sharing drinks with them. Another idea is to show them planning a sneak attack on Hyrule Castle. In the case of the later, they should be in Telma’s Bar studying a diagram of the Castle and looking as if debating the best strategy to penetrate the captured Castle.

Duel at the Great Bridge of Hylia: The fight against the Boar mounted Moblin on Hylia Bridge was rather frustrating but it was cool. Perhaps this can be developed in a good pic. I believe it would be best to show Link, riding Epona, and the Moblin, riding his boar, in one of two scenes. One idea is a head on charge, with the two racing towards one another to see who breaks away first. Another idea is for the two to be side by side, Link having just dodged to one side, with Link thrusting his sword into the Moblin’s chest.

Wolf Link, mid transformation: Personally, I think the whole Link-enveloped-in-shadow-and-comes-out-a-Wolf idea was too low key. But, that makes the potential for a cool pic. Perhaps Link could be shown midway through what the transformation should have looked like. Link should be standing, either erect or leaning forward, with the hint of fangs visible in his opened mouth. Also, one hand should have claws while the other is normal. And, finally, half his head should be normal while the other is showing signs of fur and half of the mark on his forehead coming in.

Link+Zelda (OoT variation): I’ve read tons of fanfics centered on this pairing and, though somewhat obvious, it was very well done. One idea is a shot of their first meeting in the Castle Courtyard during OoT. Or, better yet, when they reunite after the Sages are awakened. Perhaps the shot could be shown partway in Zelda’s transformation from Sheik to her true self, possibly with her head, left shoulder and the left side of her chest that of Zelda and the rest being that of Sheik. Might be tricky, but it does seem workable.

Link+Zelda (TP variation): Link+Zelda pairing fics are less common in the TP arc but are not unheard-of. One possibility is to draw the two of them before the remnants of the Mirror of Twilight with Link having one arm around Zelda’s shoulder. Another possibility is for Link to be kneeling before Zelda and her dubbing him a Knight of Hyrule, either with her sword, the Ordon Sword or the Master Sword, depending on the artist’s preference.

Link+Midna: I’ve recently read a number of fics centered on this pairing and it sounds like an interesting idea. One possibility is to draw Midna, in her human form, after Ganondorf is defeated. Perhaps Midna could be gazing mischievously at Link as he looks on in astonishment. Another possibility is to draw a pic of Midna and Link standing before the Mirror of Twilight. Perhaps Midna could be crying the tear she casts at the Mirror and Link could be either reaching out to smooth away her tears or gazing at the shattering mirror in shock.

Link & Zelda Vs. Ganondorf: Of Twilight Princess’ three staged battle against Ganondorf, the horseback part was my favorite. Perhaps a pic could be made of this. I believe it would be best for the two mounts to be changing each other. Link should have his blade drawn over the shoulder for a slash while Ganon’s is thrust forward jousting style. Zelda, meanwhile, should be readying the light arrow and aiming it over Link’s shoulder.

Zelda (Alternate)

Where DOES all that stuff go: The single greatest source of puzzlement in the Zelda Universe is how Link stores all that junk he carries with him. Popular theory amongst fanfic authors is to either leave it as a comical plot hole or that it is simply a magic bag. One way this can be made into a pic is to either draw the Sages before a diagram of Link and his inventory contemplating the conundrum. Another idea is to show the ‘magic,’ perhaps with items levitating and slowly shrinking as they approach the bag with another character (logically Zelda, Midna or Navi) looking on with a ‘you have got to be kidding me’ expression.

Back home…sort of: One thing that’s kind of sad about OoT is that none of the Kokiri recognized Link. Though, to be fair, Link didn’t seem particularly interested in explaining it to them. One thing that fanfic authors like to do is for the Kokiri to find out either through Saria or Link convincing them. Perhaps a pic can be drawn of Link standing before a group of Kokiri telling them stories of his adventures or, alternatively, he could be horsing around with them big-brother fashion.

Link and the Gerudos: Sneaking around the Gerudo Fortress was a lot of fun, even though it was kinda tricky. One thing that I’ve seen a couple of fanfic authors do in post-OoT fics, in which Link is NOT sent back to his original time, is for Link to become the new King of the Gerudos. I believe one idea is to draw Link clashing with one of the dual scimitar wielding Gerudos. Or, if you want to try the King of the Gerudos idea, you could draw Link on a Throne surrounded by attractive Gerudos with one or more of the other OoT girls looking on in displeasure.

I had a lousy childhood: From time to time, one can find an OoT fic in which, for some reason or other, Link is not sent back to his original time. And, this leaves a wide open field for pics. One idea, for instance, is to draw Link at the celebration that occurs during OoT’s credits partying with the people of Hyrule. Another idea is to draw Link in Hyrule Castle Town, along with some burly laborers, working to rebuild the city.

Midna’s not so cute now: The Twili-Spider creature that Midna becomes to break through the seal on Hyrule Castle was cool. Perhaps you could draw that scene. Or, alternatively, you could draw Spider Midna grappling with Ganondorf.

Even Heroes need to unwind: For some reason, I really like the Fishing Hole in Upper Zora’s River. I even managed to get the Frog Lure and land a Hylian Loach. Five times. One idea is to draw Link in the canoe reeling in something big. Another, funnier idea is to have him in a larger canoe with Colin, Beth, Talo and Malo, all with rods, and have one of the kids get pulled in by their catch.

Sheriff Link: One thing I noticed was how the Hidden Village resembles the sort of towns you see in Western Movies, and the theme song for the place matches it. One idea is to draw Link moseying into town, spurs and all, with the Moblins either waiting in ambush or moving in the streets to confront him. Or, alternatively, you could draw Link and a Moblin staring each other down in a Zelda-style gun-slinging duel.

Ungallant fun: For some terrible, unknown reason, I REALLY like moving through Hyrule Castle Town as a wolf and everyone running in circles screaming. Perhaps this can be shown with Wolf Link gallivanting around the central square with people panicking. Or, alternatively, you could draw Wolf Link sitting on his haunches, with people panicking in the distance, while Zelda gives him a ‘you naughty thing, you’ look.

Now, I don’t expect you to do all of these. That would be unreasonable. I just hope that you’ll look these over, see if any look worth doing and get back to me. Thanks much and catch you later.

No problem, I haven't read A New Dawn yet but I plan too. Have you played any of the Fire Emblem games? I myself have played Fire Emblem Blazing Sword, Fire Emblem Sacred Stones and Fire Emblem Path of Radiance. I noticed you have some Zelda art too, I can't get enough of Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess. If you're looking for material, I have ideas for fanart based on those five games I mentioned. Please let me know if you want it and catch you later.
